My Recent trip to Tioman Island with 20 people was a memorable one. Most of the people in this trip are mostly new to me, except for my students. Overall, the trip was a successful and i would like to thank these people for making this trip a fun and memorable one for me.

Underwater Photo - Part 1 - Nudibranch

I have taken underwater photos for 5 years now, I used to enjoy underwater photos because those time i was on leisure diving, spend all the time looking for things and just stay there to take the photos untill i am satisfy with the outcome.

However, since early this year, i do not have the leisure of doing leisure diving because i started teaching scuba diving. Most of the time i have to either watch out for the students or if i bring my camera, i will take their photos or video so that they have their good memory after the trip.

Over the last weekend, i look back at all my archive and make a compilation of all my favourite underwater photos. Will post it up batch by batch to share with you all.

Irresponsible Fisherman

On our recent trip to Pulau Tenggol, during one of our leisure dive, I was leading my group of divers diving at Gua Rajawali. My other group of leisure divers also diving at the same site but at different entry point.

When we met up with the other group of leisure divers, I saw them grouping together at a spot doing something. I was curious what they are doing and went to have a closer look. As i approach them, I was supprise to see a huge fishing net floating in the mid water. the leisure divers were busying cutting the net to free up those fishes who got trapped in the net.

I quickly instruct my divers to wait at one area and i went over to help out the net cutting. The fishing net had a massive tangle the corals, destroying the most of the stagehorn corals in the area. Most of the fishes are dead trapped in the net, among them are 2 Bamboo Sharks. However, we still manage to free 2 Bamboo sharks.

It took us 30 minutes to cut loose the net and we tide the sausage to the net and lift it up to the surface.

My Second Batch of Students

19th of June, I brought second batch of students to Pulau Tenggol. This trip was a bit tough because my first time bringing such a large group of students at one go. However, the lucky thing is most of them learn quite fast and have not much of big problem, also i have my partner to help me out on this trip.

On friday morning, upon arriving on the island, I started doing the training dive for one student because she is not so comfortable, so require one-to-one attention. After that, i brought the remaining 5 students for their training dive. By the time i am done with them, lunch is over and I missed it. Immediately, i went out with the leisure group for a leisure diving. Once i am back, i brought the 5 students for their second training dive. None stop diving for the whole day.

No matter how tough and how hard is it, there's no complaint about certifying students who successfully complete their course. I am very happy to see 5 of them obtaining their Open Water Diver certification and 1 obtaining Scuba diver certification.

Congratulation to Wei Hua, Anthony, Han Hung, Chii Wen and Shahrul for getting your PADI Open Water Diver certification and Siew Suan for obtaining your PADI Scuba Diver certification.

My first Batch of Students

Congratulations to Cloe and Ryan for obtaining their PADI Open Water Diver certification. We went to Pulau Redang back in 8th of May for 3 days 2 nights to conduct their certification. The whole trip went off without any problem. I am very happy and fulfilling to see both of them obtaining their certification.

Have fun diving and remember to dive safe.

Happy Day for IDC Class of March 2009

After more than 2 weeks of spending time together, all 6 of us, instructor candidates, are like brothers and sisters. All of us would like to see each other do well in IE and pass it becoming an instructor.

During our IDC, one of the candidate was lagging behind in his dive theory. However, he work his ass out during the 20 days. SF Chong also patiently guide him throughout the period, making him is able to absorb as many as possible before IE. During the first day of IE, we have 5 theory paper and we have to pass all. If we fail 1, then we can resit for it but if we fail 2, then we fail all.

This candidate was not confident but under the encouragement of SF Chong and the rest of us, he decided to go for IE. We are all hoping that he pass all papers. However, he managed to pass only 4 and have to retake 1 on the next day. On the same night, we help him to brush up with the particular paper and on the next day, he manage to pass the paper. Not only that, on the confined water presentation and knowledge presentation, he score 5 (maximum point).

We are all so happy for him. He said he will buy us dinner and beer. Woohoo .....

IDC - Instructor Development Course

Ever since i take up diving back in 2004, i have a dream, to be an instructor one day. When I completed my Divemaster course, the next step will be IDC - Instructor Development Course. However, i had been delaying it because of financial issue and also time issue (it's hard to get 2 1/2 weeks break from office).

Finally, on July 2008, i told myself the wait is over. I have to start saving up money and get myself enroll in IDC, I contacted my Course Director, SF Chong and decided to enter the course on March 2009.

Before i fly off to Bali, alot of my friend who went through IDC informed me that it's a piece of cake. I should not have any problem getting through it. However, i am still nervous because it's still something new to me. I still remember clearly on the first day of orientation, i ask myself how can i get through these 20 days.

Alot of people thought i come here and have a good holiday and diving. Hey, it's a training program, everyday we have to wake up at 7am and we will spend our time either in classroom, pool or ocean for practicing our skills and knowledge and presentation. At night, we still stay back in the classroom to do our assignments and revision. I am proud to say that after 2 weeks here, i have only been to Hardy's (the local supermarket) and the night market.

Time flies, 2 weeks flew by and how we course is ending soon, my heart is heavy after the course end, 6 of us (instructor candidates) will be heading off on our own ways, some will be teaching in Perhentian, some will go back to where they came from, some dunno yet, and some get a job in local bali dive center. Where ever they will be, i just wanna say i am glad to know them all and all the best in their diving career.

Yesterday was the first day of IE (instructor examination). The first day was the tuffest, Standard and Theory exam. I am glad that i have passed both exam without much difficulties. This morning we did our confine water presentation and i passed it. Later in the afternoon will be our knowledge presentation and tomorrow morning will be our open water presentation. If everything goes well. i will be a OWSI. Wish me luck.

Also, I wanna take this opportunity to thank SF Chong for being such a patient guy, teaching and leading us to success.

Fun Dive During IDC - Manta Point and Crystal Bay

This video was taken during our IDC fun dive. Finally after 10 days of none stop studying, pool and ocean practice, our Course Director, SF Chong allow us to have a morning to go fun diving and enjoy ourselves.

Before IDC starts, i told chong i have not seen a Manta before and if he can bring us to see a manta. He say no promise but he will try. True enough, he bring us to Manta Point and i was so excited. According to some of my coursemate, Manta Point 99.9% guarantee Manta sighted. When we jump into the water, the water temperature was a bit warm, after 30 min of diving, we still didnt see a single Manta. I was so frustrated, thinking is my luck so bad? I will kill myself if i dont see a single Manta here.

right about 35min into our dive, one of my buddy bang on his tank, signalling us, there, suddenly i see one Manta swimming toward me. about 4 metre, tip-to-tip. I was so happy and i am speachless. I quickly turn my camera into video mode and capture the perfect moment.

Now i am proud to say i have seen a Manta Ray. They are one of the beautiful underwater creature that i love the most.

Cost-cutting to save RM2bil

PUTRAJAYA: The entertainment allowances of ministers and deputy ministers will be slashed and their paid holidays will now be limited to local and Asean destinations.

These as well as several other steps, including a freeze on new government posts and assets purchase, would save the Government RM2bil.

The slashing of allowances and limitation on paid holidays take effect on July 1. Even the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister will not be spared this new ruling.

The Prime Minister currently enjoys a monthly entertainment allowance of RM18,865 while his deputy gets RM15,015. Other ministers and deputy ministers are given RM12,320 and RM6,000 respectively.

For the paid holidays, Cabinet members will not be allowed to claim for more than a week’s holiday.

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said these measures “will not be the first or the last; many other announcements will be made by the Government”.

“The savings will be channelled to subsidies for low-income groups,” he said after chairing the first National Inflation Council meeting at his office here yesterday.

“We are sensitive to the hardship faced by the people as a result of the recent increase in fuel prices.

Everybody will have to be thrifty in these difficult times, including the Government.”

Besides the freeze on new government posts and the purchase of assets like cars, furniture and computers, other measures to be taken are limiting the number of workshops, seminars and conferences held at hotels and postponing all renovation works for government offices.

The Government will also cut down on the number of functions like the opening of offices, prize-presentations as well as disallow attire specifically made for an event.

“There is no point for a special outfit because it’s wasteful.

“In line with this, a 10% cut will be imposed on expenses within departments.

Much of the cut will involve promotional and campaign activities.”

The measures became effective yesterday in a circular issued by the Treasury to all agencies and departments.

The freeze on new posts, however, does not cover critical sectors like education, health and enforcement, and those dealing with the delivery of public services and capable of increasing the country’s revenue.

Restructuring of agencies and departments will also be put on hold, except if this is to reduce the number of workers or which does not involve the creation of new posts.

Official overseas trips will be limited to important international or inter-governmental meetings, with not more than three officers sent, and even then only those directly involved.

My 2 cents worth: In view of the recent fuel price hike, our government has announced that they will cut down spending from elsewhere, example their Minister and Deputy Minister monthly entertainment allowance, the free traveling for Minister and Deputy Minister, purchase of others assets, and blah blah blah ...

The government claimed that this move will help the government to save RM2 bil and it will be channel to subsidies for low-income groups as Pak Lah claimed that the government is sensitive toward the hardship of this group of people after the fuel price hike.

It is funny that only now the government realize that there are alot of area that the government can cut cost and save on the money.

(吉隆坡5日訊）油價及電費猛漲掀起骨牌效應，交通領域業者紛紛高喊調高車資，與此同時，馬股今日開市后也全線暴跌，盤中跌幅超過3%或38.75點！

受影響的各行各業對昨天的燃油價格漲幅大表震驚，一些長途巴士公司更在即日起調整車資達40%。

一些州屬的羅厘公會也宣佈，即日所有的運輸費會調高35至60%不等，學巴公會也允許會員增收10至50令吉的車資。

綜指全線暴跌

這股漲風掀起的千重浪也延伸至馬股，導致今日投資意願大受打擊，導致綜指今日全線暴跌。
市場擔憂，汽油及電費調高后將拖累消費意願，影響國內經濟成長，繼而大量拋售持有股項，導致綜指跌跌不休，狂瀉近40點。

在特定藍籌股領跌下，綜指今早急挫19.08點，以1234.04點報開，爾后跌勢凶猛，大演滑鐵盧。

其中，種植股吉隆坡甲洞（KLK）和峇都加灣（BKAWAN）淪為馬股下跌股榜成員。

在中午12時14分時，綜指狂挫38.75點，報1214.37點；並在休市時以1215.31點掛休，跌37.81點，半日成交量達3億1733萬股。閉市時，綜指報1223.56點，重挫29.56點，成交量6.3億股。

My 2 cents worth: With the announcement of the fuel price hike, have a look at what are the things that is going up.

1) Electric tarrif - 18% increase

2)Transportation cost - 35% to 60% increase

3) Travel busses prices - 40% increase

4) School bus fees - RM10 to Rm50 increase in monthly fee

5) Inflation - 5% increase

The best part is, there are more to come in this few days.

TNB: Power rates to be linked to fuel prices

There was a mad rush at almost all kiosks as motorists tried to beat the midnight deadline when the new petrol and diesel prices came into effect.

No untoward incidents were reported but voices were raised at several petrol stations in the Klang Valley which suffered temporary power outage due to the heavy thunderstorm yesterday evening.

There were complaints that several petrol station operators had closed for the day after the new prices were announced.

Retired teacher Kaniappan Kaniah was one of the irate motorists who complained that a “rosak” sign was placed on all 10 pumps at a petrol station in Shah Alam last night.
Kaniappan, 62, was on the way to teach a self-defence class in the city and had to fill petrol as his tank was nearly empty.

The retiree from Shah Alam claimed that the petrol station had, during the previous petrol price revision, put the “rosak” sign a few hours before the new petrol price took effect.

“I am quite sure that after midnight, the ‘rosak’ sign will be gone,” he said yesterday.

He left this particular petrol station and went to other kiosks nearby only to find them packed with vehicles.

Fed up, Kaniappan went back home and phoned his student to pick him up.

In Johor Baru, it was no different from anywhere else in Malaysia as motorists made a beeline for petrol stations to fill up yesterday before the fuel price increase.

But if people thought the vehicles would include Singapore-registered ones, they were proven wrong.

Checks showed most of the cars at petrol stations bore Malaysian registration plates.

The rush was such that some petrol station owners went to the extent of rationing the amount of petrol for each vehicle to ensure that everybody got their fair share.

Mohd Khairul Mohd Duan, who operates a Petronas station in Bandar Baru Uda, said Singaporeans would not be too affected by the hike.

“Singaporeans won’t mind paying the higher price. I’ve spoken to them and they tell me that even if fuel prices reach market level, they don’t mind paying because it’s still cheap for them.

“But how are Malaysians going to survive?”

Khairul said station operators like him “gain nothing” from the price increase.

“The result of this is that I now have to spend more than before to buy fuel, which I do at least 25 times a month.”

My 2 cents worth: Firstly, by announcing the fuel hike was bad enough, but announcing it at the late afternoon and with effect on 12am that night was an idiot thing for our government to do.

The announcement by the government in late evening has lead to a massive mad rush to all petrol station in the country during off office rush hour. In Kuala Lumpur, with the late evening heavy rain, flash flood appear everywhere and all cars rushing to petrol station and this has cause massive jams in town.

This is, again, a bad move by our government which lead to unnecessary jams and mad rush of all motorist to petrol station. I dont understand why cant the government either announce it earlier or to give few days notice for all the people so that they do not have to rush to petrol station to fill up the tank to beat the 12am time line?

Government commented that our fuel price is the lowest in the region and with the price of the fuel in the world market going up, the government is unable to pay the increasing subsidy of fuel for our people. With the removal of fuel subsidy, the government can now use the saving for other subsidies as follow:

Where the RM13.7b savings will go

- RM7.5 billion goes back as subsidies for petrol, diesel and gas

- RM4 billion for food security

- RM1.5 billion for cooking oil subsidies

- RM400 million for standardising price of rice in Sabah and Sarawak

- RM200 million for flour subsidy

- RM100 million for bread subsidy

The government even dare to ask the people to understand their decision and do not take the anger to the street. The government, too, advice the people to change their lifestyle to reduce on their expenses and wastage.

I am just wondering who is the genius person who advice the government that this is a good move. Didnt they study economics? Didnt they realise that the fuel price is the root of the increasing of other commodities?

When fuel price up, transportation fee goes up. When transportation fee goes up, it will lead to other products, such as food to goes up as well. If our government is saying by removing the fuel subsidy away and they can now use the money to subsidies for food, what's the logic behind it? You save money on removing fuel subsidy, feul goes up and lead to food price up, you use the money you save to subsidies food, wont that be LPPL (Lan Pah Pak Lan)?

To change our lifestyle by reducing unnecessary expenses and wastage? How else can we change Mr Pak Lah? An average wage earner has a fix amount of money to use a month, after minusing the necessary expenses likes the house installment, car installment, bills and etc., whatever left may be use for some little entertainment, for example, going to movie, having a cup of coffee with friends and so on. This will help us to relax in this madness environment.

So now with this fuel hike, monthly expenses will now go up, what other way can we cut down. I would love Mr. Pak Lah to tell us. Is the government asking us to cut down on our personal entertainments and cutting down our family days by bringing our kids for fast food on weekend?

I read somewhere this morning about some comments on the fuel hike and I agreed with this person. He commented that people in other countries, such as Singapore and Thailand can survive with high fuel price because their government provide them with good public transportation. For example, Singapore's MRT is so well connected that one do not need to drive on his or her day-to-day activities.

Look at our country, LRT is only limited to those who stay near the routes, Wangsa Maju and Ampang for LRT, Kelana Jaya and Wangsa Maju for Putra. Town center by the Monorial.

Then what about those people stay in Subang, Damansara, Shah Alam, Kajang, Puchong and so on. These people have no choice but to drive to work. So these people will be the most affected by the fuel hike.

Lastly, I have great respect to the current central government, especially Pak Lah. Hold on, the reason I respect him is because after the March 8 Political Tsunami, the government already knows that the public is unhappy and yet he dare to announce the fuel hike just 3 months after the election. For that, he has my salute.

Malaysian pump prices at market rates by August: minister

Malaysia will abandon fuel price controls by August and raise pump prices to market levels under a revamped subsidy system to be unveiled on Wednesday, a minister said.

"The prime minister will announce on Wednesday an indication of where we are going in terms of a fuel subsidy system," Domestic Trade Minister Shahrir Samad told AFP.

"We have worked out the details of the subsidy plan and after the inflation committee meets today (Tuesday), it will have to be approved by cabinet," he said.

Malaysia is moving to cut the spiralling bill for its extensive petrol, diesel and gas subsidies, which is expected to cost 56 billion ringgit (17.4 billion dollars) this year.

Currently petrol sells for about 1.92 ringgit (60 cents) a litre, among the cheapest in the region.

Shahrir said the details and implementation method of the new subsidy scheme would be thrashed out by August, when the full plan is scheduled to be in place.

"What we are targeting for when the full plans are announced is that the price at the pumps throughout the country will be at market prices, so until the full plan is delivered, we will not be able to do this," he said.

Shahrir said the new subsidies would be a needs-based system, rather than the current arrangement which lowers the cost of petrol for all users no matter what their income.

He told state news agency Bernama that the government was considering mechanisms including offering cash payments or setting quotas.

The government is initially targeting Singaporeans and Thais who make day-trips across the border to fill their tanks with fuel that is substantially cheaper here.

On Monday, it shut off petrol sales to Thais on its northern border and will also ban sales of petrol to visiting Singaporeans in the southern state of Johor from June 9 as an interim measure ahead of the new subsidy mechanism.

The government is braced for a public backlash over any further fuel price hikes, in a country where public transport is poor and many people are dependent on their cars.

The ruling coalition suffered its worst ever results in March 8 elections, losing five states and a third of parliamentary seats in a setback partly credited to anger over high prices of food and fuel.

My 2 cents worth: Sigh!!! petrol price raise again? Price for everything also will follow, up and up. Who will suffer? The people. We pay tax to the government and they use the money to subsidies for the petrol, which mean we indirectly already paying for the petrol money. Now that they are announcing that the petrol price will follow the market rate, which means the people will have to pay more.

Even though they government is working out the details of a new subsidy plan, still there's no guarantee everyone will benefits from it. Everybody will take the opportunity to raise their price, blaming it on the fuel hike.

The government always said that our fuel is the lowest in the region, for example when comparing to Singapore. Thus the people should not complaint. However, they fail to note that Singaporeans are earning far more than us in Malaysia. For example, a sales executive in Singapore earn more than a sales executive in Malaysia, thus, when face with higher living expenses, to them is not a problem. Therefore, how can you compare a apple to orange?

No matter what we all say, the fuel price is definitely going up.

郭素沁：克連沙嘉出示信函 - 大道局暗示可設路障

（巴生2日訊）雪州高級行政議員郭素沁揭露，承建蕉賴加影大道的克連沙嘉公司，向雪州政府出示一封大馬大道局的信函，並指信函內容暗示該公司可在皇冠城大道設路障。

她指出，在最近州行政議會中，當局邀請克連沙嘉大道公司代表出席開會，以瞭解皇冠城封路的詳情。

雪政府堅持開路

她昨晚出席巴生健身社6週年紀念暨籌募四川賑災基金晚宴上，如是指出。出席者包括雪州行政議員歐陽捍華及劉天球等。

“雪州大臣丹斯里卡立在會上不斷詢問大道公司代表，是誰批准大道公司設路墩，對方才取出大道局的信函，並表示信中暗示大道公司可設路墩。”

她說，民聯政府每週州行政議會上都有討論皇冠城封路事件，她嘲諷前州政府，在兩年時間都無法處理的問題，但民聯政府在執政不足100天就已解決。

“大臣以雪州柏朗桑集團在大道公司中有20%的股份，要求召開股東大會，要股東決定是否開路，而雪州政府強硬的態度，使中央政府的態度放軟，贊成開路。”

再那阿比丁否認出示大道局信函

（吉隆坡2日訊）克連沙嘉執行董事再那阿比丁否認，曾向雪州政府出示大馬大道局信函，暗示該公司可在蕉賴皇冠城主要大道設路障。

《中國報》針對雪州高級行政議員郭素沁于昨晚的揭露，電訪再那阿比丁。

再那阿比丁堅稱自己對以上事件毫不知情，也不了解有關信函的詳情。

他也聲稱自己對大馬大道局是否曾發出信函，表示不知情。

另外，大馬大道局職員說負責人不在，本報無法求證。

記者聯絡大馬大道局中馬區分局，惟職員指負責人兼主任不在，隨后轉聯絡給該分局主任蘇萊雅，惟對方指此事交由總部監督及協調組主任蘇海米負責。

但當記者多次撥電欲聯絡蘇海米時，其下屬均指他在開會，不方便回電。

本報惟有轉聯絡大馬大道局總監拿督莫哈末拉查利，聯絡多次，其秘書都指對方在開會。

后來本報再度聯絡他秘書時，對方指他已外出並將到外國2星期，無法回應記者的提問。

First article - Teressa Kok said that in the Selangor Exco meeting, they invited a representative from Grand Saga to attend. The Selangor Mentari Besar, Tan Sri Khalid asked the representative from Grand Saga who had approved the barricade to be placed up. the representative mentioned that there's a letter from Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) hinting that Grand Saga is allowed to re-build the barricade.

Teressa Kok then went on to tease the previous Selangor Government was unable to resolve this issue after two years but the PR Lead Selangor government just solved it withing 100 days of administration.

My Translation: MCA national youth secretary Wee Ka Siong request the Ministry of Home Affair to further investigate the BMC issue, to put justice to those who take law into their own hand, whether it's the thugs, residents or the police, to prevent the people further upset.

He said that, before this, the residents have to go a longer route, which will incur additional usage of petrol, and therefore indirectly incur additional subsidy from the government.

On the other hand, Wee Ka Siong felt very supprise to heard certain police officer claimed that " dont expect the police to jump down from the flyover" He said, police is always in the front line, and they are professional, if there's any incident, not only have have to jump down from flyover, if needed, they have to even climb the mountain of knife.

他認為，在等待法庭判決時，政府應從法、理、情的觀點著手處理上述事件，以務實角度做估算，包括大道公司本身的法律根據、當年批准大道公司合約情況如何、發展商申請道路有哪些承諾、不收大道收費，是否由政府承擔等等。

他說，無論如何，今天不該是居民來承擔。

他指出，目前居民每天繞道走，增加用油量，這無形中也加重政府的負擔。

此外，魏家祥對有些警官說“難道要從天橋跳下來”的言論感到震驚。他說，警方是站在最前線，也是專業的，如果有騷亂，不要說是從天橋跳下來，即使是刀山，也都要爬上去。

My 2 cents worth: Since 27 May 2008 after the incidents where the thugs went crazy beating the residents of BMC at the barricade area, I have been reading the newspaper daily to see any arrest of those thugs who were involved in the beating.

However, to my surprise non of the newspaper mention anything on any arrest. there are so many pictures captured on that day by the press photographer, by independent bloggers, by residents and even captured on video, identifying those who were involved but till date, no arrest was made.

If my memory did not fail me, I remember reading that the police mentioned that they are investigating this matter and will definitely arrest those who are involved. But after 6 days, still no news of anyone getting arrest.

It is either our police is incapable of doing their job or they dare not make any arrest, worrying that the thugs will disclose who are their boss who paid them money for the attack.

PETALING JAYA: The Barisan Nasional government supports the move to open the access road connecting Bandar Mahkota Cheras to the Cheras-Kajang Highway for the benefit of the people.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the decision was not to bow to pressure or to please the Pakatan Rakyat-led state government in Selangor.

"We want what's good for the people," he said at a parade held in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Royal Malaysian Air Force in Subang yesterday.

However, he said, the government will not back the people if they break the law.

On Friday, the cabinet had decided to allow the access road to be opened, pending a court decision.
Controversy arose when the highway toll concession holder, Grand Saga Sdn Bhd, sealed off the access road.

Grand Saga had built a wall in January 2006 to prevent toll-free traffic from Bandar Mahkota Cheras accessing the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn junction that connects the Cheras-Kajang Highway.

This resulted in a spate of confrontations between the residents and a group believed to be employed by Grand Saga to prevent the removal of the wall. ........

My 2 cents worth: our Deputy Prime Minister once again stress that the announcement of the BMC access road was not due to pressure from the PR government but the BN government did it for the good of the people. Hurray .... the BN wants what's good for the peole ... what a BULL. I am so sick of listening all this idiot, no brainier comments from these so-called leader of Malaysia. Again, found this article on Chinapress dated 31 May, 2008. It says that Datuk Liow welcome the interference from the Work ministry to resolve the BMC access road issue.

Datuk Liow also said that the BMC access road should remain open untill the court comes out with any decision for the case between BMC developer, Narajaya and the highway concession, Grand Saga.

My 2 cents worth: Now is the time to get famous. More and more BN leader step forward to make comments on the BMC issue. This time, it's the MCA National Youth chairman, Datuk Liow Tiong Lai turn.

Anyone who play chinese chess should know this phase "Leopard behind hourse" direct translated of "Ma Hou Pao". I am curious why only now Datuk Liow come forward to say something like this? Why this type of comment was not voice out at the very beginning? Isn't it's too late now that BN people come forward to say things like this?

Datuk Liow also mentioned that "Whatever the outcome, it should not affect the people rights. People's rights should be protected" May i just ask how can the people rights be protected when the central government keep it's silence and allow Grand Saga does what it did to bully the residence of BMC?

Instead Grand Saga get's the help of police and FRU to disperse the residents so that they can rebuild the barricade. Grand Saga gets the help of thugs to protect it's 3rd barricade but police did not appear to protect the residents when thugs went crazy beating the residents.

Unbelievable and Genius Comment from Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing on BMC Issue

Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club chairman Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing is in the lime light again. This article was found on Chinepress dated 31 May 2008.

According to the article, With the announcement of by the cabinet to remain open of the access road at BMC, Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said that it shows that the BN government did not fold their sleeves and watch the issue at BMC.

He hope that all relevant parties can solve the problem in the shortest time frame.

He further said that all this while, the BN government is doing their part in helping to solve this problem. However, the BN government did not act like the opposition parties to make this issue into a big bang.

He also welcome the announcement by the cabinet to instruct the access road to be remain open untill the court comes out with a decision.

When he was asked whether the BN government make such decision was due to the pressuring from the PR government. Tiong King Sing replied that there's no such thing. The Work Ministry has been doing its part all this while to solve this issue and it is almost reaching a solution to it. Thus, it is not because of the pressure they announce to open the road.

But he said he is disappointed to those relevant parties for not solving the issue in time. According to him, those relevant parties should set a time frame to resolve this issue.

Tiong further stated that the previous Hulu Langat MB, Datuk Markiman Kobiran, had also debate this issue with the ex Work Minister, Datuk Seri Samy Vellu.

Tiong also stated that Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club also has been discussing with the Work Minister on this issue and try to resolve it in the shortest time frame. According to him, if the current Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Seri Khalid Ibrahim is so confident the PR can resolve this issue, then he will have not ask for 2 weeks of time. He should have solve it immediately.

Tiong said that the people should judge for themselves whether the PR is using this opportunity to gain more political advantage.

My 2 cents worth: This is not the first or second time Datuk Seri Tiong is making ingenious comments. I thought after all this issue and problem, he will keep his mouth shut but yet again he is making such unbelievable comment again.

If the BN government is really working behind the scene to help the residents of BMC to resolve this problem, then when the committee of BMC first request for help, how come all relevant parties refused to help at the first place.

If the BN government is really working behind the scene to stop all this issue, then it should have ordered the Grand Saga not to rebuild the barricade at the very beginning after the residents remove it in April and let the court to decide. Instead, Grand saga came with hundreds of FRU and Police and rebuild the barricade, blasting water cannon and tear gas.

If the BN government is really working behind the scene to stop all this issue, then after the high profile FRU blasting water cannon and tear gas, the BN government should have step forward and ask the Grand Saga not to rebuild the barricade for the 3rd time.

If the Work ministry is really reaching solution to this issue, how come when the residents went to the parliment to present their memorandum on 28 May but the Minister did not come out to meet and announce their solution to them?

Instead of all this, Since April till now, the is non of the BN leader came forward to voice out and ask Grand Saga to stop what they did. We heard one or two genius leader mentioned in the news paper about this issue, all of them saying the residents should not take matter into their own hand, saying the opposition party is trying to steer up the emotion of the residents but non of these people said they will take up the responsibility to help or to condemn the action by Grand Saga.

Even Datuk Seri Tiong also mentioned previously that since the court has announced the area is belong to the highway concession, Grand Saga, thus, there nothing wrong for Grand saga to block off the access road. So is that how the Barisan Nasional Backbenchers Club trying to help by making such comment, as claimed by Datuk Seri Tiong himself.

Datuk Seri Tiong, you are right to ask the Rakyat to see for themselves, whether the opposition party is using this opportunity to gain political advantages. We will definately judge this ourselves.

Bandar Mahkota Cheras Turmoil is finally solved?

Finally, the selangor PR government is putting its act together in behaving like a government in power, using its agency to solve the rakyat's problem. You can be with the rakyat in opposing the project but leaders are suppose to lead and not to be involved untill violance erupts. As in this case, situation can get out of hand.

Finally the state government realized that it has a stake in the whole project, flexes it muscle to government agency to solve the problem. After 2 weeks of high tension excitement, fear and frustration, finally it's putting the act together. to oppose is easy, but to govern and solve is an entirely different matter.

The Human Rights Commission (Suhakam) today did not mince its words in condemning the “excessive force” being used by the police against residents during the fracas at the Bandar Mahkota Cheras on Tuesday night.

The commission demanded the police to explain the alleged beating of a 21-year-old man during the incident where about 200 BMC residents were ordered to disperse by the police.

“In doing their duties, they have to be more human-rights friendly and the degree of brutality used did not justify it (their action),” said Suhakam commissioner S Subramaniam at a press conference.

Subramaniam said while the police have the authority to take action against the residents, it had to be in accordance with human rights.

Chang Jiun Haur (left), who was with his sister and two other men in a car, was allegedly dragged out of his Proton Wira and repeated kicked and beaten by 20 Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) personnel armed with shields and batons.

He was subsequently hospitalised in for injuries to his face and other parts of his body.FRU must show proofAccording to Subramaniam, it was “absurd” for a team of well-trained FRU men to “feel threatened” by four unarmed youths.

“If they (FRU) have proof that they were hit by the car (as claimed), then they have to provide the names of the officers who were injured,” he said.

Deputy Home Minister Chor Chee Heung told Parliament yesterday that according to a report given to him from the police, two police officers were hurt - one on the hand and another on the thigh - from falling down after being knocked by the said car.

Subramaniam added that the affected officers should also state which hospital they had gone to for treatment and the doctors who had attended to their injuries.

Meanwhile commissioner Denison Jayasooria, who was also at the Suhakam press conference, stressed that the police should be held responsible for their alleged beating of Chang.

Both the commissioners visited Chang at the Teluk Kemang hospital in Port Dickson, where he lives.

My 2 cents worth: This incident remind me of Rodney King, an African-American taxi driver who, in 1991, was stopped and then beaten by Los Angeles Police Department officers after being chased for speeding. A bystander, George Holiday, videotaped much of the event from a distance. Part of the video was broadcast around the world and shows four LA police officers restraining and repeatedly striking a black man, while four to six other officers stand by. There is no part of the tape that shows Mr. King attacking the officers, as some have claimed.

The resulting public outrage raised tensions between the black community and the LAPD, and increased anger over police brutality and issues such as unemployment, racial tension, and poverty in the black community of South Central Los Angeles. The four officers were tried in a state court for using excessive force, but were acquitted. The announcement of the acquittals sparked the 1992 Los Angeles Riots.

After the riots, the United States Justice Department reinstated its investigation and subsequently obtained an indictment of federal civil rights violations against the four officers involved in King's beating. The federal trial, as compared to the state trial, focused more on the medical and officer training evidence in the case instead of just relying on the videotape of the incident which the state had done so previously. As a result, Officer Laurence Powell and Sergeant Stacey Koon, were found guilty by a jury and sentenced to 30 months of prison, while Timothy Wind and Theodore Briseno were acquitted of all charges against them.

I hope those who witnessed the incident can come forward to proof that Chang Jiun Haur did not intentionally try to ran his car over the FRU. I also hope that Suhakam can take action against those 20 FRUs who beat the shit out of Chang Junn Haur, we do not need this kind of gangster in our so-call elite squad which are suppose to protect the citizens and to maintain law and order. Not forgetting the senior officer who make that idiot comment saying "He asked for it. He ran over a policeman and he got what he deserved", he is the one who dont deserve to be a high rank officer in the squad.

All these FRUs should be sack and sentence to jail for the inhuman act they have done to a innocent people.

True Malaysian

I am a chinese educated and thus, naturally my England is not very powderful. So you may find alot of grammatical mistake in my article and I would like to apologize. But being a chinese educated I have my advantages, I can read the chines press and get more interesting news, which you may not be able to get it in the English dailies.

Before this, I dont really understand the meaning of "True Malaysian". Before this, I always thought it can use to describe those malaysian who make the country and it's people proud. For example, the the famous Mr. Astronaut where the government spent billion citizen tax money to send him to the space or the badminton player who won a prestigious competition.

It is, however, now that I realized that the real meaning of "True Malaysian". A real True Malaysian is those people who will scarify themself and their time for the sake of others. A True Malaysian will do what it takes to make sure that their mission is achieved and will not back down from any hindrance.

Look at these pictures taken at the junction of the BMC access road on 30th May, you can see volunteers are busying directing traffic to ensure that there is no accident during the rush hour, some busying directing the tractor to clear off the remaining rock bolder so that car can safely enter the access road. Even the tractor driver also volunteer to help out when he pass through the area.

Bear in mind that these people are not paid to do this. They could have chosen to stay at their house to watch TV or to go to a mamak to have a nice cup of teh tarik. Instead of that, they choose to go help out at the BMC access road. For that I salute to them. You all are the "True Malaysian"

Again, I am disappointed at the police because according the them, during the evening of 27 of May, traffic police were busying directing traffic thus they are unable to do anything. However, where are they today? They are no where to be seen, leaving the traffic problem to the citizens and residents of BMC.

There is finally some good news for Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) residents - the federal government has ordered that a toll-free access road in their neighbourhood not be barricaded.

BMC Open Road Committee chairperson Tan Boon Hwa said that he was informed of this by Transport Minister Ong Tee Keat this afternoon....Works Minister Mohd Zin Mohamed, who visited the site this afternoon, confirmed the cabinet decision to the gathered residents, numbering some 300.

He told the jubilant residents that the access would be allowed immediately and that Grand Saga would be tasked to repair the road.

The minister however was unsure if the free access would be a temporary or a permanent feature, adding that it depended on the outcome of a court case between BMC developer Narajaya Snd Bhd and Grand Saga.

The articles stated that the Parliment Deputy Speaker Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku claimed that since the case between Grand Saga & Narajaya has been brought up to court, and there's no need for immediately attention, as the 2 reasons to reject a special motion raised by the Serdang MP Teo Nie Chin to discuss on the BMC barricade issue.

The decision by the Deputy speaker has cause several unrest among the opposition parties and there's was a 15 min debate on the decision by the Deputy Speaker.

Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku further stated that firstly, the deputy speaker feels that there no need for immediate resolution, secondly, since the case has been brought up to the court, according to the parliment regulation, it cannot be discuss anymore.

DAP's Tony Pua Kiam Wee then stated that if the incident incolved beating, then the issue can be discuss at parliment. However, the Deputy Speaker asked him not to interfear as there are still many other important topic to be discussed.

The Deputy Speaker further stated that he knows the importance of the issue but as a Legislative committee, he has to abite to the law of this country.

Serdang MP Teo Nie Chin however disagree as she stated that this involved Grand Saga and the developer, Narajaya. Furthermore, it also involved Police beating citizens, thus this is very important.

M.Kura Segaran, who is a lawyer by profession, raised that the parliamentary practices No. 18（3）stated if there are more than 15 parliment members support, the parliment must agreed for the special motion.

Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku also claimed he is a lawyer by profession said that if accept this special motion, it will be discuss in the afternoon at 4:30pm, not now. Then he further stated that since he, the Deputy Speaker, stated that since he feel that is no need for immerdiate resolution, then the move to raise parlimentary practices no. 18(3) is void.

At last, Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku using parlimentary practice no 43, which claim that the decision of the Speaker is the last to reject the special motion raised.

The MCA today condemned the use of violence against Bandar Mahkota Cheras residents who have been holding protests to voice their objection to a road barrier being erected along the Cheras-Kajang Highway, which prevented toll-free access to their homes.

MCA vice president Datuk Ong Tee Keat said he had already met members of the Bandar Mahkota Cheras Action Committee and received complaints that violence had been used in order to stop the residents from dismantling the barrier. "I am dismayed that several residents from the housing estate were hurt by irresponsible people under the full glare of the police. "I’m going to follow up the case with the Selangor Chief Police Officer and the Inspector-General of Police over the incident. Any attempt by any quarters to bring in thugs or mobs to threaten the public must never be condoned,” he told Bernama here today. "As residents and property owners, they deserve the right to make their voices heard. Whether they are members of any political parties or not, that is secondary but the point here is that the use of violence must never be allowed,” said Ong, who is also Selangor MCA chairman.

On Tuesday, about a dozen residents, including a photographer from a local Malay daily were injured after they were beaten by a group of people who tried to prevent the residents from dismantling the barrier, which was erected by a contractor engaged by the toll operator, Grand Saga Sdn Bhd.

The residents have accused the toll operator of hiring thugs armed with sticks to stop them from tearing down the barrier.

The toll operator has since denied that they hired thugs. Police have launched an investigation to identify those responsible.

My 2 cents worth: Finally, after so long, someone from MCA make some sense talking here. But dont just talk, show us the action, extend your help to those needed, especially the 4 people who were arrested on the night of 27 May (Chang Jiun Haur and gang). With the access road reopen again, i reach home a happy man. I look at all those involved in the process of open the access road, you guys are our hero. While having my dinner, I read this small article on Sin Chew:

My 2 cents worth: Reading this article is a joke where I nearly choke myself with rice, especially the part "MCA does not agreed to barricade the access road ....". He must be mad or something to dare to claim such comment. MCA does not agreed to barricade the access road? Since when a MCA member stand out to make any statement since the incidence started. I recalled since this issue was brought up back few years ago, the committee has actually went to MCA for help but they had refused to get involve.

Since April 2008 when the residents forcefully remove the first barricade untill now, the 3rd time they removing it in May 2008, I did not recall seeing any of the MCA members come forward to make any statement regarding this issue. Read my words - NON!!!.

皇冠城封路兇徒打人30傷‧警方否認袖手旁觀

Again for the benefits of those who cant read Chinese, the following article was found in SinChew. Chor Chee Heung of MCA commented that the police was not just watching the whole beating drama at Bandar Mahkota Cheras access road, as cited by various people. He claimed that during the beating incident, police was not in the vicinity. When police arrived to the area, the beating was over and those thugs ran away.

He further said that since police was not at the vicinity when the beating was going on, the claimed that police did not interfear was not right.

However, he stated that if any one saw police on the area and did not act on it, please go lodge a report and pass the report to him and he will ask his department to do an investigation.

On the other hand, Simaiaoma claimed that police had never interfeared in the Bandar Mahkota Cheras.

When Simaiaoma was asked whether the police will make a quick arrest on the suspected gangster, he did not answer. just answered that police never interfered in the issue. He said police advice both side to have a discussion to solve this issue and he maintained that police is always the neutral party.

There are hundred of people around the barricaded access road and these people saw the police there. I personally saw one police car came in to the area, then he reverse out to way far behind and came down the car and just stand there to look see look see. Police was also saw at the fly over directly opposite the barricade. Photos captured by reporters and other bloggers shows the police was infact around the vicinity. So what do you mean by the police was not around thus are unable to stop the fighting?

He further cited that the opposition should bear the responsibility and beg the opposition dont further making the issue a huge problem and let others to solve it.

He further cited that since the court has announced the area is belong to the highway concession, Grand Saga, thus, there nothing wrong for Grand saga to block off the access road. He then said that opposition party is not responsible because they started all this issue and styred up the emotion of the residents and at the end did not provide any solution to the residents.

By his account, he was only a curiosity-seeker who wanted to know what was going on at the site of a disputed barricade near Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) last night.
In no time at all, however, Chang Jiun Haur was soaked in his own blood after being repeatedly beaten by 20 riot squad (FRU) personnel armed with batons and boots with steel toes.

Chang, 21, his sister and two friends were driving away from the site of the barricade about 11.30pm, when their car was surrounded by police personnel who had earlier dealt with a fracas involving BMC residents.

A high-ranking police officer at the scene claimed that Chang had run over a FRU personnel with his car, and that the police reacted to this.“He asked for it. He ran over a policeman and he got what he deserved,” the officer told Malaysiakini a few minutes after the incident.

Asked to identify the personnel, the officer had initial difficulty in persuading the individual to come forward. When he did so, the man claimed: “He tried to run me over...look at my baton, it is broken. What more evidence do you want?”

However, a police officer who took Chang to the Kajang Hospital said none of the personnel had been hit by the latter’s car.Chang denied this as well: “We had just come back (to Kuala Lumpur) from Port Dickson and wanted to see what was going on.”

He was lying on a bed, with a bloodied mouth. His shirt had been torn off by the police, and his shorts were drenched in blood. He was crying from the shock and trauma, and was unable to say much more.

It is learnt that Chang was placed in the intensive care unit. The other occupants of his car were arrested last night, but were released today according to BMC Open Road Committee chairperson Tan Boon Hwa who has been keeping tabs on last night’s dramatic events.

DAP Selangor executive councillor Ronnie Liu, who visited Chang later, said the police had over-reacted and that the excessive use of force could not be justified.“The police should maintain law and order and not assault people. I am disappointed. My party will provide Chang and the others with lawyers,” Liu said.

‘Journalists attacked’

Chinese-language dailies reported today that more than 10 people were seriously injured in yesterday’s incident, which saw BMC residents assaulted by ‘thugs’ allegedly hired by toll concessionaire Grand Saga.

However, the company has disassociated itself from the incident, also saying it does not condone violence.About 7pm yesterday, defiant residents attempted to tear down the barricade that had just been rebuilt, but were confronted by unidentified men armed with iron rods, helmets and sticks.

“They attacked the residents immediately. About 10 people were assaulted and three of them were reporters. Their cameras were confiscated as well,” claimed Tan.Star reported that Utusan Malaysia photographer Roy Azis Abdul Aziz had been beaten up when he tried to take photos of the fracas.

BMC resident Chin Kee Chong’s right arm was broken (right) and he suffered injuries to his head, while another resident - Lee Ah Seng - sustained severe injuries to his head.Some residents claimed that several policemen present during the incident had failed to intervene.

Kajang police chief Shakaruddin Che Mood, however, said they were only traffic policemen whom he had sent to the area for traffic control.“They were too busy controlling traffic and could not do anything,” he told reporters, adding that five police reports have been lodged on the assault.

Grand Saga has been involved in a long-running dispute over its bid to block a toll-free access road from BMC to the Cheras-Kajang Highway. The barricade has been rebuilt on three occasions, after being torn down by residents.

I am not a big fans of MCA since I was young, but I somehow still had a little faith left in your group. However, lately, I have totally lost all my faith in MCA.

It is still fresh in my mind that after the total lost of MCA in the March 8th General Election, MCA has vow to change their direction, to be closer to the people, to be the real chinese community representative by listening to their opinion, fight for their rights and so on. All those leaders' comments on the importance of changes in MCA can be found in local dailies.

However, I am wondering where is MCA in the incidence involving Bandar Mahkota Cheras residence. Just for your benefit, Bandar Mahkota Cheras is a newly developed housing area. It is now reached around 30,000 residence living in that housing estate, of which 80% of them are Chinese residence. Where are you all, the so-called chinese community representative when there's problem and we needed your help?

When will only MCA leaders willingly stand out and speak on behalf of the chinese community in Bandar Mahkota Cheras? Everyday when we read the local dailies, there's no representative from MCA saying anything or extend their help the Bandar Mahkota Cheras Residence. The residence have been blasted with water cannon, fired by tear gas and even now beaten by the low class gangster, leaving 2 seriously injured.

Toll operator Grand Saga today distanced itself from the fracas which occurred last night at the barricaded toll-free access road to the Cheras-Kajang Highway in Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC).

The fracas involved residents and several unidentified men and caused injuries to more than 10 residents, some of whom who were seriously hurt and had to be admitted to the Kajang hospital.

"Grand Saga wishes to state that it disassociates itself from the altercations between several parties yesterday and that it does not condone violence in any form," said the company's executive director Zainal Abidin Ali (left) in statement today.

"Grand Saga further wishes to extend its sympathy to the several persons who sustained injuries in the unfortunate incident," said Zainal, who is former Dang Wangi police chief.

He also said that some of its contractors were also injured while carrying out their duties yesterday, adding that a police report has been lodged on the matter.Zainal said the incident could have been instigated by certain parties and that the company would be filing a police report on that fracas.

Yesterday a violent stand-off erupted when the residents decided to tear down the concrete boulders which Grand Saga had placed to block the alternate toll-free road.

Tensions rose when the residents clashed with a group of men purportedly hired by Grand Saga to protect the barricade.According to residents, about a dozen people were injured after they were assaulted by 30 'thugs'.

Armed with rods and sticks BMC Open the Road Committee Tan Boon Hwa when contacted had said that he had received information that the men were armed with iron rods, helmets and sticks.

"At about 7pm, the thugs came and assaulted the residents who tried to bring down the barricades. There was even a female resident who was beaten up by eight thugs," Tan told Malaysiakini.Residents too had lodged several police reports against the attacks on them.

加影27日訊）加影皇冠城今日第3度封路，更引發流血事件！

多名手無寸鐵的居民，在準備拆除克連沙嘉大道公司早上築起的6尺餘高的長長石牆時，被約二三十名身分不明的男子持械襲擊而受傷，有者頭破血流，在熱心公眾協助下被緊急送入附近診所。
保守估計，最少有10名居民在混亂中受傷，重傷者約3人，包括無拉港州議員葉南進律特別助理李亞成。
大道公司昨晚甫發文告，指該公司將在本週內重新設路障封路，不料凌晨1時便封路，令居民措手不及，許多居民今早使用該條道路時，被迫U轉回頭。主要道路被封后，約百名居民今早又聚集在開路現場，不過，居民今次都保持冷靜，沒有與封路的員工起爭執或丟石頭。

早上9時，承包商已經使用近百個每個重3至5噸的石墩，置放在路口，準備築起一道石牆。工作人員疊了二至三層石墩，高度約一個人的身高，再用鐵枝燒焊綁住石墩；工作人員也在道路築上木板，準備放入洋灰，把石墩穩固在地上。約中午1時，一輛洋灰車載著混合土到現場，工作人員準備以混合土把石墩黏在地上，鞏固石墩的結構。

傍晚7時15分，當時上百名居民在封路地點圍觀，並對加影大道公司態度強硬的做法議論紛紛。
當時，約4、5名情緒高昂的居民突然湧上石牆前，以木棍插入石牆縫隙搖動，拆除其中一塊石墩，在場者紛紛歡呼，支持上述行動。

鐵條頭盔齊出

當他們準備拆除第2塊石墩時，由四面八方湧出約二三十名友族男子，數人更跳上石墩，其中一人高罵“你們不要干擾（kacau）別人的東西，我已警告你們！” 該名男子接著揮動手中頭盔，作狀要打人，居民見狀紛紛往后撤退。這時，在場的其他男子手持木棍、鐵條、頭盔及長刀追赶居民，使居民落荒而逃，現場一片大亂。

來自加影的警車在傍晚7時50分抵達現場時，這時行兇暴徒已逃之夭夭，居民才敢走回現場，並針對剛爆發的事件斥責暴徒的行為，更大力譴責警員姍姍來遲，尤其是事發時大道天橋上有2輛警車駐守，卻沒有第一時間維持秩序。

晚上約10時，鎮暴隊抵達現場驅趕居民，並聲明將發射催淚彈，居民卻拒絕解散；到了11時，居民開始自動解散，陸續離開，現場只剩為數不多的居民在遠處圍觀，及數十名鎮暴隊員留守。

居民非議警方袖手旁觀

皇冠城居民非議，手無寸鐵的居民被暴徒襲擊時，警方竟然隔岸觀火。

事發于傍晚7時15分時，大道天橋上有3輛警車及數名警員駐守，惟打人事件發生時，警方沒有第一時間赶到天橋下維持秩序，讓暴徒為所欲為。居民斥責警方沒有人性，在居民生命受威脅時竟“見死不救”，相反的在居民動手拆除第一塊石墩時，數名在天橋底下的警員竟返回天橋上，似乎察覺情勢不妙。

由于人命關天，警方又不見蹤影，《中國報》記者事發后即時聯絡加影警區主任峇卡魯汀助理總監，第一時間反映現場情況，並強調居民被暴徒怒打。出乎意料的是，他竟回答說“沒有接獲報告，毫不知情。”

當記者進一步披露，暴徒猶如流氓時，他反問記者如何知道對方是流氓，記者強調上述數十名暴徒持有武器，要求警員派員駐守。這時，峇卡魯汀才回答說“好”。耐人尋味的是，儘管天橋上有警員駐守，警方卻由其他點調派另一輛警車，在傍晚時50分才姍姍抵達現場，天橋上的警員則留在原地不動。

遭五六人圍攻居民頭破血流

其中一名被致傷的居民為雙溪龍居民陳基松（34歲）向記者透露，他當時被5至6個人圍攻，該批人的做法猶如流氓。他說，他只是路過察看情況，在準備取車離開時，該批“看守員”突然發難，手持武器向他沖來，追著他打，他還以為對方是便衣警察。

陳吉松的右手被打斷，明顯骨折，后腦也縫了7針，右耳有淤血，全身占滿血跡，最后被送入院。
他說，他通過一名友人得知，其一名也在場的友人，也被毆至受傷入院。

行動黨雪州公共投訴秘書李亞成也被攻擊，頭部縫了5針，手部因阻擋木棍攻擊而紅腫。他說，對方發難時，他並不知道發生何事，還上前勸架，豈料也遭攻擊。沙登國會議員張念群助理陳澤亮將帶領傷者報案。

劉天球：起訴大道公司

雪州行政議員劉天球指出，他將上秉雪州州務大臣，針對封路事件起訴大道公司，並建議加影市議會即刻恢復通路。他說，此事原本是商業利益，不該引發流血事件，必須交由法庭作最后審判。

警方：追緝15惡徒

警方查悉，共有15人在現場滋事，拋利器或以硬物致傷公眾，目前仍追緝他們的下落。
加影警區主任沙卡魯丁助理總監指出，警方仍未查出15名嫌犯的身分，但他們並非警察；警方仍在調查，他們是否相關單位聘請的私會黨徒。

他說，警方已接獲5名傷者投報，包括3名採訪及攝影記者，以及2名男公眾，他們均被木材或鐵枝致傷頭部及手部；另有一輛轎車被砸毀。 “警方出動鎮暴部隊及交警到場維持秩序，截至晚上11時許仍有250名公眾聚集，不過場面受控制，也未有逮捕行動。”

求饒反而打得更兇

居民挨打后救饒，行凶者竟不停手，繼續打得更兇！行兇者個個兇神惡煞，居民見狀拔腿就逃，快速往皇冠城方向逃跑，多人在混亂中受傷，包括2名馬來報攝影記者。
居民一直被追至約200公尺之外路段，兇徒才停止追赶。為了安全起見，眾人群聚在遠處，熱心的馬來甘榜將住家作為庇護，至到行兇者離開為止。暴徒在行兇過程也砸破路邊車子的鏡子。大道公司否認聘看守員克連沙嘉大道公司執行董事再那阿比丁的發言人慕斯達法受詢時，否認該公司聘請看守員駐守被封路段。不過，他說可能這些看守員，由承包商請來。

這批為數約七八十人的看守員，肩膀上都掛有一條黃色彩帶，之后更涉及持械襲擊居民，多人在事件中受傷。據了解，他們從凌晨2時許就出場在現場，旨在確保大道公司順利封路。

看守員日薪100令吉

兩名馬來居民向記者透露，每名看守員每日的酬勞為100令吉。兩名居民今早在現場，主動向這批看守員交涉，兩人也受到這批看守員的熱情擁抱及親吻臉頰。居民羅斯里說，他向看守員探悉，看守員是收到大道公司的指示后到來現場，以確保承包商順利封路，每人所得的酬勞是100令吉。
另一名居民法立說，他與該批看守員擁抱，只是一種打招呼的方式，他詢問對方來這里的目的，對方指受到大道公司指示而來。

“他們向我說，只要道路順利封了，他們收了錢就會走，不會鬧事。”

居民拆木板引發衝突

下午約4時，封路現場首次出現火爆場面，當時，承包商完成封路后離開，居民走前研究有關石墩結構時，突然有一居民衝前拆掉木板，拉出鐵枝，破壞有關結構。這時看守員馬上“現身”阻止居民，居民情勢一度高昂，氣氛開始緊張。這時，看守員“領袖”與在場圍觀居民交涉，要求居民在暫時不要破壞，因為他將在這里負責看守工作至到下午6時。

一名看守員突然神智不清地在轉圈和大喊，叫“搗亂”的居民站出來。眼見對方似乎“非常不友善”，陳文華馬上安撫居民保持冷靜，就在這時，有居民目睹一名看守員拿出一把3尺長的西瓜刀，“領袖”見狀后叫人收回西瓜刀，才暫時平息這場糾紛。居民擬以暴制暴被阻

皇冠城居民不滿克連沙嘉大道公司人員使用暴力，也企圖以暴制暴，欲拆除該大道公司的收費站當“回報”。一批疑是大道公司聘請的“看守員”公然攻擊居民，連年邁阿婆也照打後，令居民深感憤怒，誓要拆除路墩，更要摧毀大道公司的收費站。

雪州行政議員歐陽捍華于晚上9時20分左右抵達大道現場，馬上被數百名居民圍堵。他說，居民指大道公司找流氓攻擊他們，卻沒有證據。他指出，他在接獲居民被攻擊的消息后已通知加影警區主任，當局也馬上派了一組人員到現場。他反對居民以暴制暴，並認為居民應該向警方報案，由警方逮捕有關傷人兇徒，惟情緒高漲的居民不接受其勸說。

居民強調，警方根本就在隔岸觀火，暴力事件發生時，有警車在現場，警員卻沒有插手；有關警車的車牌已被居民記下居民強調絕不對封路妥協，他們要求州政府安排吊車移走路墩，和對付大道公司，否則他們將攻擊大道收費站。

歐陽捍華不贊同居民的建議，他強調居民不應自行操控法律；沙登國會議員張念群在9時30分左右到達現場時，居民也向她提出同樣要求，惟她也不贊成居民以暴制暴。

據了解，暴力事件發生后，居民發現6名形跡可疑的人士，以為是攻擊傷人的兇徒，遂將他們圍堵。
其中兩名被圍者疑心虛，馬上逃向馬來甘榜，剩下4人面對怒火中燒的人群；惟最后有數名年長者表示有關人士並非暴徒，他們才免受被對付。

It did not take long for toll concessionaire Grand Saga to rebuild a concrete barricade to block a toll-free access road to the Cheras-Kajang Highway in Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC).

MCPXThe task of building the five-foot high wall across the double-lane access road started at about 1am and was completed by 3.30pm today.

Grand Saga executive director Zainal Abidin Ali (left) had issued a statement at 5pm yesterday, vowing to rebuild the barriers within a week.

About 200 residents were at the scene to watch the barricade go up but did not take any action.
The residents have pledged not to demolish the barricade, unlike on two previous occasions, as the highway company has a court order in its favour.

Open the Road Committee chairperson Tan Boon Hwa (right) told Malaysiakini that they would now leave the matter in the hands of the Selangor government.

"We will let the state government handle this. Menteri Besar Khalid Ibrahim has stated that it is illegal to build the barricade on the road as indicated by the findings of the Ulu Langat Land Office," commented Tan when contacted this morning.

The battle for free access to the highway has been going on for three years but came to a boil on April 21 when the residents demolished the original barricade - built in 2005 - with the support of some newly-appointed Pakatan Rakyat state exco members.

Grand Saga was quick to put up the barrier again, only for it to be torn down again by the frustrated residents.

However, Grand Saga's attempt to rebuild the wall - for the third time - on the night of May 8 was abandoned after volleys of tear gas were fired by the police at the residents.

Four days later, the residents failed to get the High Court to restrain the toll operator from re-erecting the barricade.

With this court ruling in its favour, Zainal Abidin gave notice yesterday that the company was going to build a barricade and hoped the residents would not interfere with the court ruling.

He said the court, in throwing out the injunction, had noted that Grand Saga has the right to build a barricade “within its indisputable concession area”.

The new Selangor government has however argued that the area where the barricade was built, is part of state land and questioned Grand Saga’s right in erecting the barrier.

According to Tan, the new barricade is about two feet away from the old barrier. At five feet, the wall consisting of boulders is much higher than the original three-foot concrete barrier.

State to react within 24 hours

Khalid's political secretary Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, in an immediate response to the rebuilding of the barricade, said the best possible action is being discussed with lawyers.

"We have already told Grand Saga that if they wish to dispute the jurisdiction over the road, they should take it to court. They should not barricade the road until the matter is legally resolved," replied Nik Nazmi.

Nik Nazmi added that the Selangor government will announce its action within 24 hours as it has various issues to consider.

The toll concessionaire had barricaded the access road three years ago - a move which upset the residents who had been using the road to enter the expressway without having to pay toll at Batu 11, Cheras.

The concrete barrier forced commuters to travel an additional six kilometres and pay Grand Saga 90 sen toll for every trip.

Two weeks ago, Khalid had given all the parties involved in the dispute - Grand Saga, BMC developers Narajaya and the Malaysian Highway Authority - seven days to reach an amicable solution.

But Zainal Abidin yesterday said that "the issue unfortunately has not been resolved" after the lapse of the seven days.

This time, they are smarter. Previously when they place the concrete barricade and it was removed by the residence.

This time, they came with huge rock. Digging a cannel and placing the rock barricade to form a 5 feet high wall, again blocking the Bandar Mahkota Cheras access road to the main highway.

However, this time not only they are smarter. They come with Plan B. Previously when the police and FRU cant do the job, this time, they bring in the local Gangster to watch over their newly build barricade. 随着吉隆坡高庭於本月12日确认加影——蕉赖大道经营公司Grand Saga，有权在经营特许权范围内建立石墩后，该公司今日宣布将於本周内重新建立之前被居民拆除的石墩。

Grand Saga执行董事再纳阿比丁（Zainal Abidin Ali，右图）今日发表文告宣布，该公司将在本周，於本身经营特许范围内重新建立石墩，并敦促公众人士尊重法庭判决。

Grand Saga和皇冠城开路委员会日前分别把案件带上吉隆坡高庭。前者是针对石墩遭到拆除一事，向开路委员会主席陈文华、雪州行政议员刘天球和加影市政局提出民事诉讼；后者则通过陈文华入禀申请书，要求高庭发出庭令禁止大道公司设置石墩，阻止居民使用有关出口。

高庭否决居民阻建石墩申请不过，吉隆坡高庭已否决居民要求阻止大道公司设置石墩，让居民使用有关出口的庭令申请，并裁决Grand Saga有权在经营路段范围内重新建设石墩。随着高庭做出宣判后，大道公司当天旋即发表文告，宣布他们会将会继续设置石墩以封路。

接着，雪州大臣卡立依布拉欣在隔天召集各相关方面举行多边会议，但是大道公司和发展商为“车流疏漏”（traffic leakage）和赔偿问题僵持不下，导致卡立最终决定给各方一周时间解决问题。

由于双方至今仍然无法化解分歧，卡立在上周指出，由于皇冠城开路风波的症结在于大道公司和皇冠城发展商Narajaya之间，因此应该交由法庭解决。不过，卡立强调，雪州政府将支持皇冠城居民的开路行动，并且认为“路必须为居民而开”。

然而，再纳阿比丁强调，该公司坚持要重新建立石墩，除了保护本身的利益之外，也是为了大道使用者在胡先翁交替路口的安全着想。

他也促请公众人士，别受特定方面针对大道使用权或石墩课题的“误导”，并让法庭作出裁决。

卡立：大道公司获中央“祝福”

卡立今午在雪州议会后受询时重申，开路风波其实属于大道公司与发展商之间的问题，大道公司应该允许打开皇冠城的通路。

他表示，他相信大道公司已经得到中央政府的“祝福”，才会宣布在本周内重新建立石墩。

Toll operator Grand Saga has today vowed to rebuild the concrete barricade to block a toll-free access road to the Cheras-Kajang Highway in Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC).

Notice is hereby given that the company will be constructing the barricade this week,” said Grand Saga’s executive director Zainal Abidin Ali in a terse press statement.

Zainal Abidin, who is former Dang Wangi police chief, said that Grand Saga had constructed the barricade in 2005 “to prevent unlawful access” to the highway through the access road from BMC.

However, an attempt to rebuild the three-feet high wall by Grand Saga - for the third time - on the night of May 8 was abandoned after volleys of tear gas were fired at an angry crowd.

Zainal abidin ali apcetResidents have accused the riot police of siding with Grand Saga in the dispute. Four days later, the residents failed to get the High Court to restrain the toll operator from re-erecting the barricade.

Zainal Abidin (right) said the court, in throwing out the injunction, had noted that Grand Saga has the right to build a barricade “within its indisputable concession area”.

“Members of the public are advised to respect the decision of the court,” he warned.

The new Selangor government has however argued the area where the barricade was built on was part of state land and questioned Grand Saga’s right in erecting the barrier.

In an immediate response, Mentri Besar Khalid Ibrahim said that the access road should remain open pending the resolution of another court case filed by Narajaya against Grand Saga.

"This is a problem between two companies. Let the court decide," he said.

No resolution after 7-day deadline

Since the barrier was demolished, motorists have been using the controversial access road, resulting in traffic jams in the area.

According to Zainal Abidin, the current situation endangers motorist not only from BMC but also the surrounding townships.

He argued that Grand Saga was responsible in maintaining the safety of its road users.

But residents retorted that it was the prerogative of toll operator to install traffic lights and provide proper signage to ensure the safety of road users.

The toll concessionaire barricaded the access road three years ago, a move which upset the residents who had been using the road to enter the expressway without having to pay toll at the Batu 11, Cheras.

The concrete barrier forced commuters to travel an additional six kilometres and pay Grand Saga 90 sen toll for every trip they make.

Two weeks ago, Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim had given all the parties involved in the dispute - Grand Saga, Narajaya and the Malaysian Highway Authority - seven days to reach an amicable solution.

But Zainal Abidin said that “the issue unfortunately has not been resolved” after the lapse of the seven days.

Grand Saga has not given the actual date when it plans to rebuild the barrier but there could be a repeat of the rowdy May 8 protest from the residents should it proceed.

IGP sounds warning after protest over Cheras access road turns ugly
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said there should be no mob rule in this country.

He said police would act against those who organised or incited residents to break the law by gathering illegally and demonstrating.

He was commenting on the protest by about 1,000 demonstrators at Bandar Mahkota, Cheras, against a barricade at a traffic-light junction leading to the area on Thursday night. The residents have twice brought down the barricade.

The demonstration turned ugly at about 10.30pm and police had to fire water cannons and tear gas to control the crowd.

Unsafe driving: Drivers using the access road after the barricade was brought down a second time by irate residents.

“We are concerned as the toll-free access road has yet to be gazetted. If there is an accident, we will not be able to investigate and motorists will have to file a civil suit for compensation,” he said.

“To me, all parties concerned should sit down and find an amicable solution without resorting to mob rule. They should go to the courts and fight for their rights, instead of damaging property and inconveniencing other motorists and residents.”

Police arrested four people after the demonstration. During the commotion, Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng was allegedly assaulted and later warded at the Selayang hospital.

The billion dollar question is that, the gathering of the citizens are to prevent Grand Saga to do wrong to residences' rights, not to protest against the government nor trying to topple the government. If the leader in the police squad really worried that the traffic is a real problem, then send the traffic police over to the job. Hey, your salaries are from our tax money. How can you, the so call guardian's of the peace, stand at the blood sucking Grand Saga side, forcefully chased the residence away by water cannon and tear gas so that Grand Saga can block the access road?

On the other hand, if the Head of Police feel that there should be no mob rule in this country, then don't you also agreed that there should be no gangster ruling among the police? Think about it.

I am very very curios now after reading a daily newspaper this morning. There a small article stated that our much beloved Mr. PM, Pak Lah, was not aware of the current and well heated issues in Bandar Mahkota Cheras (BMC) because he did not receive any report on this.

Ok ... I know being a PM is very busy, there's much of things to be taken care of. However, doesn't a PM also reads newspaper or watch news on TV? The recent BMC issues was highlighted almost daily on all major local dailies and also was featured on TV news. Residences were being blasted with water cannon and tear gas, those who got arrested was drag into police car like they are animals. Oh no ... all our PM said is there's no report submitted to him and thus he is not aware of this issue.

I am just very curios to find out since Ronnie Liu, the state executive councillor, mentioned that Grand Saga had committed a serious offence and without the state government's approval, how come the police and the FRU are being send to the area to woo the residents away so that the bloody Grand Saga stupid employees can put up the Concrete barriers?

Residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras - Unfairly treated by Grand Saga

Residents of the Bandar Mahkota Cheras have been unfairly treated again by the Highway Concession Company, Grand Saga Sdn Bhd. The highway concession company has on 2006 blocked the access road that ad-joint to the Cheras-Kajang Highway. This moved by Grand Saga Sdn Bhd was to prevent the residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras to bypass the toll.

Request was sent to ask Grand Saga Sdn Bhd to open up the access road so that residents do not have to suffer massive jam everyday. However, Grand Saga Sdn Bhd refused to do so and the company has posed a demand of compensation money of few hundred millions from the developer or the state government for toll lost if the access road is being opened.

Numerous appeals to the politicians and government to help but no action was taken by these people. After 2 long years, the residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras take matter into their own hand, forming an Open Access Road Committee and with the help of the opposition parties, they have on 21 April 2008, forcefully remove the concrete block that was placed by Grand Saga Sdn Bhd in front of the access road.

To prevent Grand Saga to re-place the concrete barrier back, the committee has encamp themselves at the junction 24 7. The committee has also assist to direct traffic before the traffic police was asked to help out. It was a great day for the residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras because they do not have to go through massive jam just to get in and out from their township.

Grand Saga Sdn Bhd has claimed that the concrete barrier was rightfully place under their premises but opposition parties have engaged an independent land surveyor to find out whether the concrete barrier was place under the state government land, and if so, they government has the right to remove it. Result was released 28 April that the concrete barriers was indeed place at the state government land. Thus, the government has all right to remove it.

The residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras was all but joyfull until 7 Maym 2008 1pm, Grand Saga Sdn Bhd, under the watchful eyes of the police force & FRU, re-place the concrete barrier 2 feet behind the original barrier which was removed earlier. Residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras and the committee were caught off guard and by the time they gather together to oppose, the concrete barriers was almost done.

Why would the police and FRU was send to assist Grand Saga in their re-placement of the barrier?

Why didn’t the federal government interfere and help the residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras?

Why didn’t the chinese politics association who lost badly in the previous election help out the people as they claimed to reform and focus on helping the people.

This issue was reported daily on local major dailies but none, I repeat, none of the federal government parties stand out and offer help to resolve this problem for residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras. Residents of Bandar Mahkota Cheras, we have been treated unfairly by the highway concession company, Grand Saga Sdn Bhd as well as our much trusted federal government.

This shoot was taken during one evening after I reach home from work. I can see the sky was fill with dark cloud and lightning were flashing all over. I quickly grab my camera and wait for the perfect lightning shoot.

It take me 20 min to capture this shoot after pressing the shuttle for about 50 times.

Beautiful? Yes it is but was heavy hearted when taking this photo.

The memory is still fresh in my mind. The day began with a sunny day, however, it rain in the afternoon and the sea was choppy. As a diver, I learned to respect the sea. Thus, i have told my colleague it's not a good day to swim in the sea.

Later in the late afternoon around 4pm, we were partying & drinking at the poolside bar. Suddenly, I heard my colleague saying that someone drown. The first thing that come to my I have to do something. I quickly ran over to the beach and i saw a group of the hotel employees looking down at a person body.

When I reach to the side of the victim, I tried to perform CPR on him, hoping I can reprieve him. I called out the the employees to call for ambulance. When I am about to give him mouth-to-mouth, i can see clearly foam has formed in his mouth, nose, ear and eyes.

Suddenly, there's a hand landed on my shoulder. I turn back and saw this huge guy shadowing me from the sun. He told me it's pointless to continue CPR on the victim because he had tried earlier for 5 min but he was unable to reprieve the victim. With a heavy heart, i decided to stop, knowing the victim has already dead. We cover the victim with a towel and left the scene.

Back to the poolside bar, my colleague and I continue to drink but the image of the victim has lock in my mind. I pretended that I am fine until the sun set, i took out my camera and shoot it. That night I have problem sleeping as this is the first time i came so close to a dead body.

The next day, we found out that the victim was an employee of the hotel. May he rest in peace.

Next time, if you wanna know a gorgeous stewardess, read on.

Some time ago, a friend told me that he and his buddy was on a plane to Langkawi. They saw this pretty and gorgeous stewardess who they wanna know. Thinking out of the box (which they did everyday in the office), they take out the vomit bag and wrote:" Hi, I am XXX from sit no. 16c. Can I know you?" When the stewardess walk pass, they throw the vomit bag onto the floor and true enough, the stewardess pick it up and walk toward the back of the plane.

At first they were disappointed as they thought the stewardess did not respond to the message. However, right before the plane landed in Langkawi, the stewardess approached them and ask:"Did you actually mean for other passanger?" She continued saying:" If yes, she will help to pass to the passanger." My friend was shock and said:"No, it's meant for you." The stewardess just smile and walk away.

Not giving up, they took out a second vomit back and wrote down their handphone number. Right after the plane landed, before they depart from the plane, the pass the vomit back to another stewardess and told her to pass to the pretty stewardess. End of story? No way. To their supprise, the stewardess actually called them and now they are good friends.

I asked my friend, this lame trick (throwing vomit bag) actually work? He told me that the stewardess told him that "This is a new trick she encountered because everytime, most people pass their name card and she is bored about that. Vomit bag something different"

Try it out next time if you on the plane and if you wanna know a gorgeous stewardess :) good luck!!!

Deeply inside me, i feel honored to be assigned this task. However, the date line was tomorrow and that night i had a wedding dinner to attend to. So, without letting my wife down (her friend's wedding), i have to burn mid-night oil.

When I reach home, it was about 11pm and sitting there cracking my head how to make the two block look interesting. Finally I just take up my camera and start shooting it. Finish it at about 2am in the morning.

The next day when i pass the CD to my boss. I was happy to find out that he like the photos and have send them to the top management .

26 November 2006 - Malaysia Sepang Circuit held it's second season of A1 GP. Wanted to take photo but too stingy to buy the ticket. When my good buddy, Richard Ng, told me that he has Grand Stand ticket, i decided to join him for a photo session. When I arrived at his house, it was raining heavily but still we decided to go.

When we arrived at Sepang Circuit, the race has started and rain has stopped. Good time to start practicing our panning shoots. We shoot as many panning shoots as possible as we do not have IS lens, thus, hoping out of 20 shoots, 1 or 2 will come out nice. Overall, I am happy with the outcome of the photo session.

Once again, thanks to Richard Ng for inviting me along to A1 and I am now looking forward to next year F1 season.

24th November 2006 - Started as a sunny day. After sending my wife to her manicure class, i decided to go Butterfly farm to take some photos. When arrived there, took out my Canon 400D and started shooting using 90-300mm lens. After taking photos for 30min or so, it started to rain :( Thus, have to stop and find a place to shield myself from the rain.

After 20min or so, rain stoped. Photo session continued and I am happy because I manage to get some nice shots.

24th November 2006 - After 2 hours at Butterfly farm, i decided to call it a day and wanna spend some time drinking my favourite Starbuck coffee at Timesquare while waiting for my wife to finish her manicure class.

However, when i reached Timesquare, there was an Abseiling event to help raise money for the Paralympics athletics. Publics who donate money will have a chance to abseile down 120 feet (11 storeys high) infront of Timesquare. Chance of the lifetime.

Of course i took the opportunity, not to abseiling but to take photos again. The girl in the photos is from Philippines and she is having a time of her life.

I was lucky to given the chance to shoot for AXN event - Penang Beach Challenge. It took place in a public beach along the Ferringi beach at penang.

During the event, i met two other photographer. They are nice and shared alot of experience with me. They brought along a Canon L lens, 70-200mm IS USM f2.8. I took the opportunity to shoot with the lens and it is very "Stim" (exicted). Of course it's nice, the lens cost around RM6,500.00. Now I am saving money to buy the lens.

What a day. After taking the Drift demo at Shah Alam, Shonny and I decided to go Sunway Lagoon to take the opportunity to shoot an event (to feel how is it).

So off we go and when we reach there, it was raining heavily. Thus, we have to carry two umbralla. At about 8:30pm, rain stopped and the concert resume.

We are lucky to obtain the staff tag and therefore we are able to enter to the official photographer area to take photo. It was a memorable night as it was fun taking a live concert.

One Saturday morning, my friend told me that there will be a drift competition and Demo by Japanese drift king at Shah Alam Stadium.

Again, called Shonny and we both went to Shah Alam Stadium. The RX7 in the photo was driven by the Japanese Professional Drifter. Sorry have to admit that this photo has been edited using photoshop. This is the first time I tried panning shoot but was not successful. So took it at hight shutter speed and went home to edit it. You may say i am a cheater but ... who cares ... as long as i love it...

Found it in Redang. It is about 1 inch long. When we found it, my buddy and I was so excited and we both swim towards it at the same time, hoping can get a good shot at it.

We both take turn to shoot the Xenon Crab, not knowing that the group have left the area. About 5 min later, when we look up, only the two of us left. We both decided to swim around looking for bubbles and luckily we found the big group.

This photo was taken at Pulan Lang, one of the smaller island around Pulau Dayang and Pulau Aur. Towards the end of the dive, my camera was low in battery. Thus i off it and dont intend to take anymore untill i recharge it again during surface interval.

When we are about to accent, we saw this squid, about 4 inches long. I dont bother to chase it since my camera was low in battery. Richard, my sifu was chasing it left right center. At one monent, i saw it swim toward me. I quickly turn my camera on and praying it still have abit of power in it to capture it.

Without any time to do any changes to the setting, i just snap it when the squid is infront of me. I was lucky it turn out great.
